As part of our ongoing support for creative education, PriestmanGoode is excited to announce our sponsorship of New Designers 2024, London’s premier graduate design showcase event, championing the future of design since 1985.

New Designers is an annual exhibition that brings together the top graduate design talent from across the UK. Spanning two weeks, this event showcases the innovative work of over 3,000 talented graduates.

As a double sponsor, PriestmanGoode’s involvement extends across: Week 1, which features design graduates from disciplines such as textiles, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, and more; and Week 2, which showcases graduates from industrial design, graphic design, illustration, animation, product design, motion and digital arts, and other fields.

Win an internship with PG.

As part of our sponsorship PriestmanGoode will be judging the exhibits each week with winners receiving an internship with our internationally respected studio for up to one year, paid at the London Living Wage as part of our commitment to the Internship Pledge, a commitment to equal opportunity and fair pay for those entering a design career.

Learn from the PG team

In addition to our internship prizes PG is also offering portfolio reviews in Colour, Material and Finish (CMF), Industrial Design, and Branding. Different members of our team will be available to give advice to designers on their portfolio and on life in a design studio, as they prepare to apply for their first roles. For more information on portfolio reviews, visit ND Educates Portfolio Crits.

PG are also part of the speaking platform ND Educates – Talks and Workshops. On Thursday 27th June we’ll be describing the exciting career path in Colour Material and Finish, sharing insights and helping graduates with an option they might not be aware of. On Thursday 4th July, our talk will discuss the wider diversity needed in design to reflect the users that future designers will be creating for.

“A career in design empowers anyone to shape a better future. PG is an employee-owned studio and as part of our values we’re committed to enabling those with the same aspirations to enjoy a meaningful career and to find a place in the sector that’s perfectly aligned to their skills and own values. Our participation in New Designers this year is all about sharing our own experience as individuals to help new talent, about life working in one of the best global design studios – and finding two emerging designers to join us for a paid internship.” Kirsty Dias, Managing Director
