Redefining the First Class Suite
Lufthansa unveils new Allegris product including a double First Class Suite designed by PriestmanGoode.
- New suite is the first First Class product onboard an Airbus A350
- The First Class Suite Plus is the first of a kind for Lufthansa Group
PriestmanGoode has designed the First Class Suite Plus as part of Lufthansa’s new Allegris product that was revealed by the airline today in Frankfurt. PriestmanGoode also designed the Premium Economy and Economy cabins in what is the 25th major project for the studio with the airline, in a relationship spanning 24 years.
The First Class Suite is a first of a kind, both in terms of bringing this level of cabin onto an A350 for the first time and in terms of the level of comfort and ability to tailor the space to passengers’ individual requirements. The central part of the cabin sees the introduction of a First Class Suite Plus for the first time, designed for a couple travelling together or for an individual seeking the ultimate travel experience in terms of space and comfort.
Commenting on the launch, Daniel MacInnes, director of PriestmanGoode said: “The design team has pushed so many boundaries in the development of each of the cabins we have created. Lufthansa has not only shown a commitment to including a First Class product, they challenged us to take it to a whole new level and every aspect has been designed and developed from ground up. The design language not only speaks of the future direction of the Lufthansa brand, it’s a signature project that is packed with features that will attract passengers that appreciate the level of comfort they expect to find at home or in the most premium vehicle brand – and that they can now enjoy in the air.”
