PriestmanGoode produced a CGI movie for Turkish Airlines’ Business Class launch, highlighting the cabin’s design, features, and passenger experience through seamless visuals and grey screen integration.

The Challenge

CGI and visualisation are increasingly seen as essential tools for many businesses today, both as part of an internal process to engage with stakeholders; and for launch, advertising and marketing use. When our long-standing client Turkish Airlines were planning for the launch of the new Business Class cabin at Farnborough International Airshow 2024, they invited PriestmanGoode to create a movie that was informative, but fun, to showcase detailing and the new cabin experience.

Solution

We gathered the best team to produce one of the most realistic and seamless CGI cabin movies ever created using our high quality cabin images, green screen integrated content and a highly-diverse cast that reflects Turkish Airlines global customer base.

The 4-5 month project saw the PG team follow a number of phases starting with the initial creative development phase, together with Turkish Airlines’ creative agency Popcorn Brain. That was followed by the production phase or ‘shoot’; and VFX phase covering the creation of all CGI content. With fixed timeframes leading up the airshow launch, PG and Popcorn Brain collaborated with Fortemus Films and 3 Deers to deliver the final movie.

The use of green screen film shoots with passengers and crew added realism, elevating the narrative, highlighting details of experience and high level of onboard service. The Turkish Airlines Business Class movie shows the customisation of the cabin, with its 1-2-1 layout, direct aisle access, privacy doors for all seats, elevated comfort and space, material choices and entertainment technologies including a 22” high definition screen.

PG offers an end-to-end solution in planning and executing photography and film shoots across transportation and other products and experiences.
